The Cine-Xenar III are actor friendly lenses that are robust and reliable of construction, and feature a large 31.5mm image circle specifically designed for modern digital cameras, including large format sensors such as the Red Epic. The lenses feature a pseudo-macro Ultra Close Focus (UCF) down to 25cm from sensor plane. All lenses have the same dimensions, do not change volume during focus, and all focus and iris gears are in the same position. Changing lenses has never been easier: remote focus lens motors can stay in the same position.
